Making things easier

Just a quick note. I did a bunch of things in SecondLife to change up my island and that took a bit of time – a couple of hours I guess. And some shopping.

This evening at home I wanted to change things in the piggies room to put the girls cage up a little higher. It has been just at the height where it is excruciating to bend over for that long to clean and change it (yes I know I need to start exercising and strengthening back muscles). But I have found I procrastinate doing their cage because of the pain it causes. So I took a set of plastic tube shelving apart and put half on each end and affixed the cage to the two halves with the cage grids underneath. It only raised the cage three inches but I think it will make a difference.

Not sure what I am going to do when I move. They may go back on the folding tables or something. Well the boys. The girls cage is too large. Although Gracie has been bossy with Hammy this evening – rumbling and chasing her around. I think maybe she’s in heat and trying to show dominance. If Gracie keeps it up after a week I might have to separate them, because Hammy is getting older and I don’t want her bullied.

Anyway, it’s late and I need to get to bed and have some last minute preparations. It’s been a good day overall, in which I didn’t get a lot done but I did make a lot of decisions which should make it easier to get moved. And found some more stuff to donate.
