Dancing Around

This morning we danced at Alternate Metaverse for the first time in a long long while. Enjoyed seeing everyone again and the music was good. W made a couple of requests.

This afternoon I am working on the path in the new 5×5. I found the ones that came with the oar a bit hard for my avatar to walk on, so I am changing the pathways over to a matted style while W is napping. They look good, and are much easier even though they use slightly more land impact because they are shorter.

The first region I had here, I ended up flattening the whole thing (for more land) and then adding some raised regions. This time around, I am leaving nearly the whole terrain pretty much as the OAR they gave me, but changing and adding spaces and objects. I think it’s beautiful either way, but I like to put in my own touches. I made a “fake” (prim) island that we put our main house on.

Yesterday I looked at the main building and decided the top would be great for a secret office area. The walls were too high, so I shortened them enough to look out when I am standing up there. I’ll need to add a desk and so forth. I have offices everywhere, but so much of the time I am with W or working on landscape so don’t get to spend much time in them. The computers in Second Life and online let you actually go to web sites just like on your normal computer. You can also watch Youtube on them while inworld, and sometimes other video.

I also did my Synthriders exercise this morning. Not my best, but getting in the routine is more important. Took in a random song. I didn’t note what it was but I can probably find out when I go back in. It was more difficult than the one I am used to. The holding patterns were wiggly rather than long and smooth like I am used to. I missed quite a few of the tones, but managed to end up with 600,000+ points anyhow. (Sunset Hologram (find it on youtube)) is a song I use regularly to get my three tries in, and on that it is normally 1,600,000+ points.

I also watched a little 3D instagram. Not a whole lot new, but I love looking at all the guinea pigs there.
