We danced yesterday in a couple places in SL after spending the day in Alternate Metaverse. I terraformed our home island (wasn’t easy) to get rid of the prim island. We also messed with flying objects and W got stuck outside the Estate, so I had to try and rescue him. Now there are a line-up of speedboats on one of the beaches I’ll need to clean up.
But we added a dock and a beach to our home island. That’ll be nice for walking down the steps and onto the dock. Also a small beach attached where we can hang out by the ocean at home.
Seems to be much more conversation in Fogbound tonight. Some about the dance huds. W and I met because of a dance hud back in August 2024. Still going strong although we were friends for six months first. Anyway, the conversations are sometimes rather interesting at Fog. Then again, sometimes non-existant. Now they are talking about plumbing and joking around.
Sometimes the outfit goes on nice and smooth, sometimes it requires a lot of manipulation. Tonight’s outfit required some changes. It didn’t have saved sandals on and the pair I tried didn’t fit right. So I had to changed to my favorite Keziah heels I’ve had for ages. Favorites because of the number of colors I can change to in the hud – but I use mostly black.
We’d like to dance more in Alternate Metaverse, but the times are not too convenient for us two – not with the music we like anyhow… We’d have to get up too early in the morning or stay up way late at night. One of these days however…
Terraforming yesterday proved to be difficult. It was all smooth going at first and then I accidentally made some holes down to the sand and it was all lumpy after that. I have a scripted “leveler”, and got that out of inventory. It helped but it was difficult to find the exact height I wanted to raise the terrain too. (Because I didn’t want to reset the house or the landscaping again.) Finally I got it all done. Might need some minor smoothing in spots, but it looks good.
Been some good dancing tonight. So busy I have a hard time getting to writing.
