Playing catch up

The last month or two I’ve kind of let things go. I am sleeping better, so I think I have the energy to catch up on stuff. Today it’s the kitchen. Washing all dishes, cleaning counters and going to do the laundry.

The piggies ran out of pellets yesterday before the month was over and they get a delivery. So I had to run out to Tractor Supply and get them some. I think they are bulking up for the winter — unfortunately I have been too, and that stops today. It’s only five pounds, but every one counts. After this I’ll do some oculus quest Synth Riders and then get back to work on the computer.

After Tractor Supply, I stopped at Dollar Tree and picked up some paper towels and a couple of egg rolls and a breakfast burrito (had not eaten yet). So the egg roll will be for dinner. I’m about halfway through morning checklist at this point – it’s 1:25.

Not doing Bible Study tonight… Two of our participants are going to a funeral of someone they both know, so we are not having it. That makes three weeks in a row.

It’s warmer today so I feel like getting more done and not sitting too much – rather unusual. I did some stuff in Second Life this morning but that goes into the other blog later.

So back to finish the kitchen, then Synth Riders…

Pretty good but not near my highest score. Also notice that when there is “free space” in my brain, I tend to start thinking about other things and may miss a target at times. It’s the mild bending and stretching that is good for me (plus the music) so it doesn’t matter a whole lot. But usually I would be doing this first thing out of bed in the morning as a warmup. Still, it’s good that I got it done.

Next month I’ll get the battery pack and start trying out more music in the game, as well as other apps I don’t do a lot of. Off to put laundry in (piggies’ first). Then finish kitchen cleaning while listening to Spotify.

Argghhh… Shop vac sucked up my delicates bag into the hose… trying to find a way out for it. May resort to fishing pole. Um… well, I had put the fishing pole in storage. lol So… used a VERY long curtain rod (copper pipe) from another house. That got it out, but it did put a hold in the bag. Still, with my pets, I cannot live without shop vac.
