Still working at it.

Most of the progress has been in the piggies room where there is more room on the floor, and the wire shelving out. I started a large Chewy box in the bedroom and filling it with kitchen things. I won’t try to move it all at once, but it will keep that stuff out of the way until it’s time to move.

I’ve started to do some sorting in the little drawers. It’s amazing how many nails, screws, bolts and etc. that one can accumulate in just five or six years! ha! But if I gather them all in one place, it will be easier to just keep what I need.

Surfaces however, are problematic right now. I cleared off the living room floor and then promptly started another project > so now I have boxes of photographs sitting here. I guess I will put them back away when I’m through blogging. It’s laziness I suppose – I don’t like putting the stuff from projects away because I fear not finishing. But who cares anyhow? Nobody is going to check up on me to see if I do it. ha!

I’m trying to use up various “extra” food I’ve had around. Yesterday it was oatmeal with walnuts and raisins they gave us at the senior center. It was a good size bag and I finally finished that off. Today it was the 2nd half of a box of Rice a Roni. (Because at the moment I don’t have a container big enough to cook the whole thing, or a real oven either. So I made it in the microwave.)

I danced a bit this evening in both 2nd life and here in my living room. I have a friend who is a regular dance partner at the clubs and he showed me a new one that has dots on the dance floor to move to. That was fun.

Not much else going on except one person from our church got sick in Canada and is now in the hospital in Maryland and we are praying for him. Also during and after Bible study we had a lot of discussion.

God’s command was the first for equal rights for women. In Leviticus, he says right there that if there is no son, that a daughter has the right of inheritance of property. They got away from that later, but that’s how it started out. That and in those days there must have been constant smoke billowing out from all the burnt offering sacrifices that had to be continually made. Kind of like a constant run to the stockyard to burn all the cows up. Of course, this was how the priests were fed. Bet it was a lot of work – storing livestock, killing it, cleaning it, cutting up certain parts, making the other foods to offer, wine, etc. Why they had a whole tribe for the priesthood at the time. Anyway, it’s hard to get through all the names, but the reading is interesting. I’m learning a lot. I find it actually helps to strengthen my faith to learn it this way; to see the reasoning behind so many of the “rules” they were given. There’s a reason they were so much healthier than other populations of the time > all the rules about what they could not touch, for one. And if you did, you were commanded to stay away from other people.

I guess that’s all I have tonight. Except this mess of boxes to clean up. lol
